The Equilator is a sophisticated inhalation device for horses that has been specially developed to support the natural self-cleaning function and to promote well-being when the horse's lungs are exposed to dust or allergens. Made from sustainable bioplastics, it promotes your horse's breathing and well-being.

An outstanding feature of the Equilator is its portability and ease of use. The device is lightweight and can easily be used in the stable or on the move. It is powered by a commercially available power bank, which offers additional flexibility and mobility. This enables uncomplicated treatment of horses, regardless of the availability of a fixed power source.

The inhaler can be filled with liquids that are nebulized using ultrasound and a piezo mesh. This allows the liquid to reach the horse's airways directly, ensuring optimum distribution of the inhalant.

The physiologically optimized design of the equilator ensures even and gentle inhalation, which is particularly important for the horses' sensitive lungs.

To keep the nebulizer as small, mobile and energy-efficient as possible, we use a piezo-operated mesh nebulizer with a 5 µm hole size. Therefore, as with all products based on this technology, the nebulizer is a consumable item. The nebulizer is designed for approximately 90 applications of 10 ml NaCl 0.9 % solution and up to 3 months after the first use. The use of other inhalants can significantly shorten the service life of the nebulizer. A replacement nebulizer plate is available from us.

Care

Please clean the Equilator after each use according to the operating instructions and always keep all parts dry in the box.

Before cleaning, remove the valve cap, the valve closing element and the nebulizer. Wipe all parts carefully with a clean, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive cleaners. Dry all components completely.

The nebulizer may only be reattached after all parts have been completely cleaned and dried. It may only be stored when completely dry to avoid damage caused by moisture.

After cleaning or use, ensure that no residues of inhalation solutions or other saline substances remain on the device or penetrate the housing. Such residues can lead to corrosion.

Corrosion damage caused by saline solutions or damp storage conditions is not covered by the warranty.

The mesh plate may be carefully cleaned with a suitable hygienic cleaner and a soft disposable cloth. After the inhalation unit, the tube should be completely filled with distilled water. Then nebulize about two thirds of the water and wipe the mesh platelet with the cloth sprayed with hygiene cleaner. The remaining contents must be poured out completely to remove any residue of the inhalation solution.

The nebulizer must be completely cleaned and dried after each use. Only then may it be reattached to the device or stored.

To prevent dirt or salty moisture from entering the connection area, the USB cable should not be disconnected from the nebulizer if possible. Instead, it is recommended to disconnect the cable from the power bank if the device is to be disconnected from the power supply.

The statutory warranty period of 24 months applies to this product. Consumption and wear and tear damage as well as damage caused by improper use or your own fault are excluded from the warranty.

Electrical and electronic appliances must not be disposed of with household waste. End users are legally obliged to dispose of old appliances separately. They can be returned to municipal collection points or retail take-back points.
